The Copper Queen Library was named the Best Small Library in America by the Library Journal in September 2019.

The Copper Queen Library commissioned artist Ben Dale to create a sign for the CQL to help celebrate being awarded the Best Small Library in America in 2019.

The Copper Queen Library unveiled two new community StoryWalks in Garfield Park in Old Bisbee and Upper Vista Park in Warren. The project was sponsored by the Legacy Foundation of Southeast Arizona.

The Copper Queen Tool Lending Library is located at the CQ Library Annex in San Jose, Bisbee. This program eliminates cost-related barriers to home improvements and encourages community sharing.

The Bisbee Science Lab received a grant from Fiesta Bowl Charities to renovate the Annex's outdoor resource center, which reopened in December of 2022.

The City of Bisbee Public Works Department cleared our new patio space, located at the CQ Library Annex in San Jose, Bisbee.

The Copper Queen Library unveiled our new Childhood Patio at the 2022 Ice Cream Social.

Meet Quanah, the turkey vulture from Liberty Wildlife who visits Bisbee each year for the annual Return of the Turkey Vultures Celebration. The name Quanah is a boy's name of Native American origin meaning "sweet smelling, fragrant".

The Copper Queen Library lit up its balconies to support Ukraine's libraries during the Russia invasion of 2022.

The Copper Queen Library celebrated Banned Books Week 2021 with a flash mob on Main Street. The theme for 2021 was "Books Unite Us, Censorship Divides Us."

The Copper Queen Library got creative during the COVID-19 Pandemic and worked with local artist Bridget Shanahan on designing a custom window decal to grace our staircase window.

The Copper Queen Library worked with the Bisbee Animal Shelter to create our Read to Pets Program for 2021's Summer Reading Program, Tales and Tails.
